i think what most people forget about ‘punk’ is that it is a literal mindset of challenging norms. yea, the fashion and music make up a big part of it. but, you don’t have to dress that way each and every day to be in that community, or at all even. it’s ironic that punk itself has become something to challenge, due to the gatekeeping within its own community.

tldr/ yea, im punk. no, im not gonna dress like it every single day. i have that mindset and that’s all that matters to me.

I feel like this is an important time to share this again with everything that’s going on.

Punk is helping each other and looking after those who can’t fight for themselves. Punk is fighting for the lower class. Punk is rising up in times like this and standing for what you believe in.

No, I don’t always look stereotypically punk. But I know what I stand for and I’m here to look out for those around me who need that drive.
